I am convinced that we all have a dream, something we feel we were created to do, something we want to offer the world; all we need is the space to create it, the inspiration to believe it, and the tools to do it. I’ve created ltd365.com, ltdLIVE and the soon to be launched ltdMAG with those very things in mind; helping women create space in life for their venture, inspiring and motivating them with stories of success and providing them the tools they need to make it all happen.
Having spent the last 12 years working with entrepreneurial women, and launching a few businesses of my own, I know a little about starting and growing a business. My vision is to take those years of experience, and connections, and create a multimedia platform for women living (or wanting to live) the entrepreneurial life. I started ltd and it’s various platforms to connect women, ready to launch or grow their business, to the best people, tools, tips, communities and organization that will move their venture (and their life) forward. The ltd brand is committed to being the resource for women launching or growing their dream business and their dream life…because isn’t that what it’s really all about? Welcome to my own dream realized–ltd, your one-stop source to the best entrepreneurial life!

Hi there, thanks for stopping by. My name is Nada (pronounced Ned-ah) Jones. It’s nice to meet you. I’m 40 something and married to Mr. Jones, a modern day Jimmy Stewart. He’s handsome and smart, and the kind of person you’re better for knowing. Together we have three children (I will call them by their middle names so they don’t get mad at me for writing about them). Hudson, my fancy girl, is 8. She’s got long curly locks and a heart of gold. Stafford is my 6 year old boy and the family philosopher who happens to be as handsome as his daddy. My baby boy is Clarkson, or “Jedi Master Clarkson” as he likes to be called (the cutest Jedi you ever did see), and at three years of age is the definition of “boy”.
As for me, I have a special spot for red vines, spicy Thai take-out and pink champagne. I’m a graduate of FIT in NYC and have a Bachelor’s in Marketing Communications. I’m an entrepreneur at heart and thrive on helping women actualize their dreams. Someday I hope to do the same for women in developing countries.
I recently had the great pleasure of writing a “how to” book with one of my closest friends and business partner of 9 years, it’s called “Sixteen Weeks to Your Dream Business: A Weekly Planner for Entrepreneurial Women.” For the last 2 years it’s been an Amazon.com top-selling business book–you don’t mind me tooting my own horn do you?
Before my days as an author, I co-founded nedandshell.com (a retail co-op for emerging female designers in NYC) and wrote nedandshell’s Weekly Dose editorial newsletter. Since 2001, I have taken turns playing the role of CEO, editor, retailer, wholesaler, business developer, publicist, accountant and HTML destroyer (thank goodness for my webmaster extraordinaire). One of the perks has been working with the most amazing entrepreneurial women such as Rebecca Minkoff, Hable Construction, Three Custom Color, Jaqua Beauty and Philosophy, and that’s just to name a few. Another great joy was seeing our co-op and its designers featured in swanky mags like InStyle, Lucky, LuckyMag.com, Newsweek, WWD, Elle, Jane, the New York Post and the Washington Post.
Prior to living the entrepreneurial dream, I launched my career in communications working for some biggies like Estee Lauder, Bloomingdales, Carolee, Nike and Patagonia. I started out as a Public Relations Assistant for a small firm in Boulder, Colorado and ended my corporate stint as the Director of Marketing for the nations leading arbitration and mediation company in Washington DC. My experience, both in corporate America and as an entrepreneur, has given me invaluable insight into the essentials of launching and growing a successful business.
So that’s my story–thanks for listening.
Now, please join me and the rest of the ltd team as we, and lots of other fabulous contributors, discover and share how to live the dream…your dream.
